Absolutely worst experience with their billing department and also thank you for referring me to collections. I received one bill for $291.52 in December for the services provided when my daughter was born in April of last year. Not a problem, I get it but the bill didn't include any breakdown or specifics of the services provided. I never received anything, just the bill. Dr. Gerald Mayer's name is listed but that's it. Called several times, spoke to folks who are A) incapable of helping B) refuse to help C) clearly need to be upskilled. We had Texas Inpatient Pediatrics for the birth of our son as the hospital providers. The Pediatrician was very thorough in their examination and also did a great job explaining the procedure that our son required. We had checked prior to birth to ensure that they would be in-network with our insurance. It was at that point when that was confirmed that I had my first interaction with Crystal in billing. She was great and emailed me personally confirming our coverage. After birth, we received a rather large bill for services rendered and I simply contact Crystal via our original email string and sent updated insurance information for our son and stated that I didn't think it had been processed, which understandably so because he didn't register as being on our policy immediately. I received several bills four months after they provided services. Bills did not include code to see what they were charging for. I have now paid over 500 dollars for a fifteen minute visit with the doctor. Wish there was a way to hold them accountable for their billing methods.

I had an ongoing issue with a bill that my insurance processed incorrectly and left me with a rather large amount I owed. Crystal was so helpful. She called my insurance, had them re-process my bill which lowered it considerably and was very thorough and explained the whole process to me. My insurance has been giving me problems with this bill for a year and she got everything fixed in less than 30 minutes!

These people are completely incompetent. Avoid them at all costs. We received a bill from our son's birth 5 months after our hospital stay. They had the wrong address and my wife's maiden name on file - both of which I have no idea how they acquired. Then, we received a "Final Notice" that we would be reported to Collections if we didn't remit payment by the end of the month - just a week after we received the first bill! I called and set up a payment plan and submitted our first payment through my bank's online Bill Pay.
