We LOVE this clinic for our kiddos! The staff are friendly and attentive. The clinic has a relaxed energy and kept very clean. Both of our children adore Gwen and Nicole with their bubbly personalities. Their knowledge for all our million questions is unmeasurable! As we journey through our kiddos lives we’re glad to have TCH Lone Star pediatrics by our side.

We’ve taken our boys here since they were born and are so happy to have found this place. We love the whole team, especially Ms. Gwen Collmann (one of their NPs). She’s given us great recommendations over the years and referred us to specialists as needed. Last year we took our son here for a sick visit. He was having respiratory issues and went downhill really fast. Ms. Gwen and Dr. Thorstad quickly realized that he needed an ambulance. They allowed my husband to focus on keeping our son calm since he knew they were in such good hands. In the midst of it all, they had the presence of mind to call me and let me know what was happening and where to meet my son and husband. Despite this office having a consistent history of running 45 minutes behind schedule, they enforce a strict late policy where even being 7 minutes late results in being turned away and forced to reschedule. When we arrived slightly late, we were met with a rude and dismissive front office staff who showed zero compassion or concern for our situation. The entire interaction lasted less than 35 seconds, and it was clear they didn’t care if we were inconvenienced or decided to leave the practice altogether — which we have. I understand that a doctor’s time is valuable, but so is mine, and the lack of flexibility or empathy from the front desk is unacceptable. We’re done here.

Lone Star Pediatrics is excellent. Nicole Bernard is the best doctor we could've asked for in caring for our children. She's very personable, smart, and wonderful. We've been through a lot this year with our daughter's health. Not only has Dr. Bernard gone above and beyond for us, she's been a huge support for making sure we're on the right track for getting our daughter back to being healthy. She really cares about her patients and the family. We really can't say enough about how great Lone Star Pediatrics is. All of the doctors, nurses, and staff are very friendly and knowledgeable. It's really a one-of-a-kind place for pediatric health.

Dr Bernard has been my child's doctor since birth. She is just incredible in so many ways, from her bedside manner with children to her knowledge and expertise. She is super responsive, very patient and kind, and really makes you feel like we are all on the same team.
