Tennova Emergency

Edit: I called the number they provided to me for a resolution and the individual didnt resolve anything. They basically took my money and provided no care. I came this morning at 9am with some heart palpitation and high bp. I was monitored for 5 hours or more while my BP continued to flux. They found nothing they considered wrong but sent me home basically telling me to just calm down with no medication of any kind even though my bp was progressing. I do not feel like they did anything to help me from going home and feeling like I was dying and it’s pretty difficult to calm down when you have 4 children. On the children note, my wife came last year for a medical issue involving a baby, she was miscarrying and the medical group just let her sit in her own blood for hours in the cold room

Had to take my granny out of here because they took tests and said they were negative but she literally went to her doctor the next day and got the same test done and they saw it was a stroke. I am the one who is in charge of everything and they were letting family into the room and asking them questions about her dnr. Like they didn’t care and were going to change her wishes based on some other family members emotions. I asked if we left if it would effect the insurance and she said it wouldn’t but then granny had to fix it with her insurance company. And the whole time we were there (7hrs.)we saw 5 bodies taken out the back into the vans. It’s crazy you can even say you are an emergency room.

Took my mom here for a severe headache and high blood pressure after having a knee replacement surgery. This was the most unprofessional experience I’ve ever had at a hospital. Completely ignored the headache and said her bp wasn’t high enough to treat after checking it twice in 4 hours. Two days later we had to take her somewhere else and she had a leak from a spinal tap she had during her surgery that we told them about that they completely ignored. The hospital today realized she needed a blood patch within 30 minutes of us being there. If you care about your loved one take them somewhere else. And the lady that’s a PA in the ER she needs to go home.

Tennova is lucky to have a outstanding RN named Caleb. I came in the emergency room in extreme pain with a kidney stone. Caleb is a fine young professional RN went above and beyond the Call of Duty. I am a hateful old man that don't like anything. Caleb is outstanding, he should get a raise. You don't find one like him everyday! The rest of the staff there in the emergency room was also great. but Caleb was outstanding in every way. this young man treated me like I was his father. I yelled for help a couple of times the people at the desk answered me but they never did come to check on me. They are lucky I couldn't get up. I'm not shy or bashful at all lol

Had to go to Tennova after a really rough endoscopy at Ut and had to go to the ER for severe chest pain any way they were all really nice and took care of me very fast I loved all of the staff very grateful I chose to go there instead of UT Thankyou doctor Gilbert and staff
