Reams Drug Store

Have used this Drug Store since it first opened and was owned, run by Ryan Flatt. They give great service in store as well as delivery for medications. Answer questions promptly and professionally.

I’ve never been to a slower pharmacy in my life. Call meds in 2 hours before and called before I left my home to make sure it was ready, was told it was and still had to wait 25 minutes for them to fill it. This is an ongoing issue with this pharmacy.

I had such a great experience with the Ream's Drug Stores. I have a family member that is battling Cancer and the medication needed was backordered everywhere we tried. I was not familiar with the Ream's team of stores but wanted to give it a shot hoping that they would at least hear me out. Another Big Box Store just up the road from Ream's had just been rude when I inquired about the refill with them, so I was not in the best mindset to say the least. Not only did the staff at Ream's treat me with the utmost respect and empathy, they went above and beyond to help me out with the much needed prescription. So, I ventured into Reams Drug Store in Powell, at 11am on a Monday, to get a compound medication mixed up. I'd never been to the store before, but my doctor recommended it, and as it was between his office and my house, it seemed the logical choice. The Good: The store is located off of Emory Road, it has a good sized parking lot with a drive up window. The inside of the store was clean, and served as home to the pharmacy, hospital supply shop, and had some snacks UT swag and gifts. The Bad: The woman working the counter was pleasant enough, and took my prescription from me. She was annoyed that I insisted she take my insurance information stating, "Most Insurance Companies won't pay for compound prescriptions." (Mine does, and I checked before I came in). Reams is my drug store. They pill pack my pills by Jeanie in long term care and she goes above and beyond to ensure all my meds are filled properly and in time so there is no lapse of days without meds. The pharmacists who work here are absolutely AMAZING and don't mind a bit to really take the time to make sure you understand the meds you are taking, how to take them, and possible interactions. I would recommend Reams to anyone who takes medication, or needs medical supplies.
