Tennessee Valley Endodontics

Told me my tooth was more than likely not able to be saved. I went to another endodontist and he was able to save it. This office appears to be greatly lacking in modern technology. Also, I was sent a nasty letter threatening collections over an $8 bill. Yes, that is correct, an eight dollar bill. The consult at the other office was completely covered by my insurance. Not sure what their deal is here. What a joke of an office. I think I'll pay it with 800 pennies. I was also told by this office that if he started the root canal and couldn't finish it that I'd still owe him $770. Thank God I didn't let him in my mouth.

I was referred to this dentist. My BCBS is "in network". I was supposed to get a root canal. I was called the day before to expect a $440 charge, (even tho it's covered). It was determined during the process that a root canal was not required, making it an " incomplete" root canal. I was now charged $770. My review is EXACTLY the same as another patient reviewed here. Buyer beware!!!

I was referred by my general dentist to Dr Moore to evaluate the tooth for root canal. Dr Moore proceeded with incomplete root canal and end result was extract tooth. Insurnace covered for evaluation, x-ray/office visit but not incomplete root canal. So, office is charging patient for incomplete root canal therapy of $770. Decision should have been made at the evaluation weather tooth needs root canal or extraction. I would be very careful with this endodontist and account manager was terrible. She informed, will send to collection agency if full amount $770 is not paid. Please be aware when signed the documents of what they are asking to agree!

I was referred to Dr. Moore for a possible Root Canal. Starting with Leann at the front desk, to Shelia the Dental Assistant and ending with Dr.Moore himself I have never felt such a level of care by any other dentist or staff that I have ever visited. I say this with true sincerity as I have had to have extensive dental restoration work done to my entire mouth as a result of a traumatic injury. I would highly recommend anyone to this practice for any and all Endodontics needs.

My visit was very informative as far as the treatment. I was quoted 2 separate fees, one $400+ if the procedure could be completed and $300 if it couldn't. Turns out that it couldn't be completed so I paid the $300 thinking that was it. Well about a month later I get a bill for an additional $208. Not understanding why, especially since the insurance paid them an additional $476.70. I called the office to find out why I received this bill. I was never informed that they didn't accept my insurance and I was never informed to expect a bill for any balance. This office is not transparent with their patients. I am paying this bill under protest. This is no way to run a business.
