Tenbroeck Center for Rehabilitation and Nursing

First time visiting the Center. My wife & I were very impressed with the way everything looked - very clean, functional, very busy but a very friendly atmosphere. The patients looked happy & content (at least as happy as they could be having to be in a 'rehab' facility). The friend we visited with looked well cared for & happy considering her situation. The open layout provided a welcoming feeling that appeared to encourage community & gathering together with new (or old) friends. The Center is a facility I can see choosing to use if & when I needed the resourses provided there.

Today was the first day that I had the opportunity to visit Ten Broeclk. I went to visit a good friend of mines. When I walked in, I was greeted with a smile and an hello. The looby was decorated so beautifully, from what I can see this place was just simply beautiful. The lighting was awesome. The place was very clean. When, I finally walked into my friend's room she looked great, she looked a whole lot better there than at the hospital. She told me that they washed her hair and she had on her regular clothes. I know this is not a place where we want to visit our loved ones but I felt very comfortable with her being there. The staff is AMAZING. Thank you for the care that you give. ❤️

I want to express my deepest appreciation for the nurses and staff at this nursing home. They work incredibly hard every single day to care for the residents, and it truly shows. Every time I come to pick up my mother-in-law Bergita. I see how dedicated, patient, and compassionate they are with everyone. It takes a special kind of person to do this work, and they deserve so much credit. I especially want to recognize Nurse Melissa in Brookview. She has been wonderful to my mother-in-law—always kind, gentle, helpful, and truly caring. You can tell she takes great pride in her job, and her heart is in everything she does. Families notice that kind of dedication, and we are so grateful. Taking care of even one elderly loved one at home is a lot of work, so I can only imagine how challenging

Tenbroeck Commons is providing exceptional care for my 101-year-old father, and I couldn’t be more grateful. From the moment he arrived, the staff treated him not just as a patient, but as a person with a rich history and a vibrant spirit. Their kindness, professionalism, and attention to detail made all the difference. The rehabilitation team tailored his therapy with remarkable sensitivity, always respecting his pace and preferences. Nurses and aides went above and beyond- making sure he felt safe and valued. The facility is clean, peaceful, and welcoming, with a genuine sense of community. As a caregiver and son, I feel supported and informed by the staff. Tenbroeck Commons is giving my father strength, comfort, and joy in this chapter of his life and for that, I am thankful. Highly

The staff were all very professional and attentive. They allowed a large group of us to visit my mom the day before she was moved to a new facility. The place was clean and spacious. She needed a sign language interpreter, which took extra time to setup, but everyone learned from the experience. It is especially nice that they have a staff member who is fluent in ASL, but having at least a few that understand the needs of the deaf would be a way they could improve care.
