Lake Katrine Animal Hospital

I just moved here from TX and needed to find a new vet for my sweet diabetic kitty—and these folks were outstanding in every way. They were gentle and attentive with my boy, and the vet offered all sorts of helpful information and recommendations for his ongoing well-being. When the bill came I was ASTONISHED because it was literally 1/5 of the cost of his Dallas vet visits. Hallelujah! I was also extremely comforted that they did his blood draw in the room with me so I could see how delicately my cat was handled (and that he didn’t cry or struggle). Normally when we come home from a vet visit he’s traumatized for 2 days, but when we came home from Lake Katrine Animal Hospital he was happy as a clam.

We recently put our dog, Chief, down. Dr. Halstead was prodigious. He was a mix of science and compassion. We were overwhelmed with love when we received not only one, but two, cards of sympathy from the entire staff here. Thank you all for what you have done for us

I called last night, which was a Friday, around 5:00 to see if they could help our dog with a torn dew claw. They told us to come in but they close at 5:30 so if he needed sedation we’d have to go to the emergency vet. We got there at 5:25, Dr. Cody saw Remington right away and within 10 minutes, his dew claw was cut, wrapped and he was calm. I am truly grateful to everyone for their incredible kindness, especially on a Friday evening when I know they were eager to head home and start their weekend.

The love of my life, our rescue diva dog, Joanie Sage has been a patient for 6 years. We have always received the best care at every scheduled and unscheduled appointment. 10/10 all the way! Great staff. Awesome techs and the best Docs ever! We love our veterinarian 💞🩷💞

Dr Mike is awesome! (And super funny!) My drama queen geriatric pitbull loves him! Even if Dr Mike makes fun of his 2% Boston terrier lineage.
