Tamarack Ridge

My father spent some time there for rehab. Nice place and they were very responsive and communicated well. Unfortunately they were unable to keep my father due to his dementia but helped relocate him to another facility. I would recommend this place though if you or a family member need rehab services after a hospital visit and do not have dementia. Family members have been in rehabs over the years and this is definitely one of the better ones in the area in my opinion.

After leg surgery my wife was released to a rehabilitation facility. We had looked in advance at Tamarack Ridge in Kent Ohio. We toured the facility with Abbey in admissions. We found the place to be clean and airy. The rooms were spacious with bathrooms attached. The showers were walk in with wheelchair accessibility. Everyone there was friendly and upbeat. My wife spent just over three weeks there. She participated in both occupational and physical therapy daily. The therapists were knowledgeable and caring. The facility provided a key fab to allow me to come and go for visitation on my schedule. We found the entire staff of nurses, aids, therapists, nurse practitioners , and physicians to be highly competent, friendly, and attentive. We highly recommend Tamarack Ridge.

Thank you to the entire staff for the wonderful Family Holiday Dinner. Everything looked beautiful, and the food was absolutely delicious. Our family is so grateful that our mom and grandma is there, and we truly appreciate all that you do to make it feel like home.

After having a not-so-great experience with another local nursing home, I was fortunate to have found Tamarack Ridge Health & Rehabilitation to care for my brother, who was struggling with multiple medical issues. Tamarack Ridge was a lifesaver…like finding a treasure in a time of need…offering both peace of mind and excellent care. The facility is spotless, the attention to detail and the respect shown to the patients and their families are second to none. The Tamarack Ridge staff have created a nurturing and loving environment, and I am incredibly grateful for all they have done.

I wouldn't give this place any star if I could. This is a horrible place. yes I agree with the comments that it's clean and beautiful but way under staffed. The response time is hours and hours late. Nobody is around for patient care/needs. Physical therapy is is inadequate. They barely did it. I don't know the reason for this. The staff served spaghetti to my loved one who is on a liquid diet. Had to go back to the hospital. Never to return to this hell hole. Please be careful and aware sending your loved one here. Do some serious investigating. We only heard of good things about this facility.
