By far the best ER visit ive ever had. Dr. Was extremely nice and informative. Nurses were very caring, informative and kind. Xray techs were the same. In and out with crutches and a boot in an hr.

A friend had a surgery here. I drove them to and from the appointment. I have been blown away by the staff. Patient, kind. Compassionate and professional. So many rules can cause your head to spin, but the kindhearted attitude that flows through the whole organization is unparalleled. I feel so grateful! The buildings are also very clean and nicely decorated. Pleasant experience to be here. I got hungry while I was there. I was encouraged not to leave so I visited the cafeteria reluctantly. I was amazed at the quality and variety but even more surprised at the low cost. If I lived in Ashland, I would make this a favorite place to eat alone or with friends. Not sure if they allow that, but I was impressed! My whole impression of hospitals has changed. I hope other hospitals do

The nurses were fantastic but that is where the good part of Ashland Medical Center ended for my family. The doctor we had on the first visit led to the worst medical care visit I have ever been a part of. The second visit for the same medical issue led to no answers during that time. Turns out, major issues were missed on both of these visits.

Tamarack Health is vital for Ashland—especially with Northland College now closed, this facility is one of the last anchors for growth in our region. My Experience I spent 48 hours here, saw three doctors, and walked away with three slightly different explanations of my condition. That inconsistency is concerning. At one point, I was told I could eat, but my own research suggested otherwise. When I insisted I shouldn’t, a doctor eventually had to look it up online. The next person who used the computer revealed the Johns Hopkins page she had left open. For anyone healing a perforated colon—yes, you do not eat, not even drink water. That moment taught
