Stop & Shop Pharmacy

I have been to other pharmacies to pick up prescriptions for family members and have found none that compare with this pharmacy. They are efficient. I have never waited in line. They are very professional and courteous. They called me after a prescription was ordered to let me know about a drug interaction and made a point of mentioning it again when I went to fill the prescription. When my health insurance recently changed Kathy called the carrier to make sure it was activated helping me to avoid paying out of pocket for the antibiotics and she stopped me from being billed for a doctors appointment earlier in the day. I can not express the gratitude and the piece of mind I have when they fill my prescriptions.

Pea pod delivery is fantastic for us folks that don't get around that well, I have a bad hip and a bad shoulder. My only issue is they give a delivery time between 3 p.m. and 10 p.m. but otherwise, very satisfied so far. I would also like to give a shout out to my delivery driver who was incredibly nice and very courteous. I didn't catch his name. And also, they had texted me that he would be here soon and he showed up in less than 10 minutes. Very good experience all around besides the 7 hour delivery window. I think that they should be able to cut that down to 2, or maybe 3 hours. But I give a thumbs up anyway. 👍

Always patient & understanding staff here. Very compassionate & caring. Friendly, pleasant, sympathetic, knowledgeable, and always greet you with a smile. Go beyond just dispensing medication, they are willing to listen to you, talk to you and check on your overall health. It's like when the characters would walk into 'Cheers', everybody knows your name! Very appreciative of them.

Do most pharmacies not fill prescriptions until you show up in person and waste your time with 20-30 minutes of additional wait?
