My Khloe girl has been coming here for almost 2 years now after switching her care and I cannot be more grateful to Dr. Howe, Michelle, and ALL of the staff here. Dr. Howe is extremely loving, caring, honest, and knowledgeable. She (and staff) truly love Khloe as well as all of their patients they see. They check in and follow up promptly and with absolute concern and care and I cannot be more appreciative of them. I can’t even elaborate how amazing the doctor and staff are. Thank you so much 🩷

Brought my cat in for a general wellness check, ear cleaning, and nail trim. The staff and veterinarian were excellent! Very friendly and caring. All my questions and concerns were addressed in detail. They helped to instruct me on cleaning his ears at home and sent me home with everything I needed to do it. Prices for treatment are reasonable and the first appointment is heavily discounted! If you’re looking for a great local vet in the Ronkonkoma area this is the place to go.

Just took my fur baby to Hawkins this morning, such a lovely experience here! Everyone there is so sweet and caring, and you can tell they genuinely love animals. The doctor was gentle, patient, and really took the time to make sure Dobby felt comfortable. They even gave him a little treat — he was so happy, and so was I~ We both left with warm hearts and purring smiles.

Dr Howe-Fanning is an extremely knowledgeable and competent doctor. She was able to diagnose and successfully treat my older cat where other veterinarians could not. We started out in an expensive and high-end pet emergency room where they were hyper-focused on one symptom but didn't diagnose the root cause of the problem. They discharged us with the wrong medication to treat their misdiagnosed condition. I happen to be a registered nurse and trained to know when a current course of action isn't working and so I found Hawkins Animal Hospital to reassess the situation. My instinct was correct and Dr Howe-Fanning was able to review the data, do her own testing, consult with another specialist, and ultimately prescribe the necessary medications to treat my cat effectively and swiftly to save

Transferred from our vet that we did not like and fell in love. They were great with our dog and very professional. Glad we found you guys. Update, got a second pup to add to the hawkins family. They really have been absolutely perfect with her. Even received a thank you card after her first visit which no other vet ever did. They gave her her first two rounds of shots, told me about others that she could have but told me to research the shots before hand to make an informed decision all while keeping costs at a more than fair rate. I sleep better knowing Dr. Howe and her staff are taking care of my family.
