Stony Brook Pain Management

Been a consistent patient here for 3 years now and have given me about 20 treatments in total yet they can’t even diagnose what is causing my pain which is worse than when I started here. They will inject random parts of your body and hope it takes your pain away yet won’t spend 10 minutes trying to figure out what is actually causing your pain. Always go to the hospital if you’re in pain or want treatment because places like this are just businesses collecting paychecks for their greedy doctors and employees who act like they care about their patients. Also they don’t even use actual doctors they have the students do the treatments under a doctors supervisions.

I have been a patient of Dr Gupta for many years. He is the inly Dr that myself and my family will see when it comes to pain management! He does everything possible to make sure that we leave better than when we got there! He is kind and compassionate and is so knowledgeable! I thank heaven for him all the time!

Dr. Caldwell is an excellent Dr. He has kept me out of a wheelchair. The epidural injections have helped tremendously. The other doctors I have seen wanted to do surgery. I recommend him highly. He is very pleasant and explains everything. His staff is also very helpful and caring.

The doctors and nurses were kind and helpful in person. I had a reaction to my previous meds and the new meds combining. Had a difficult time getting through to discuss it, but when my call was returned they were extremely kind and helpful. The new med suggestion has changed my life and is the first thing in 12 different medications to help and change my life for the better. So grateful.

I am currently looking to see someone following a recent event.I have to say after five days of a terrible experience inpatient …this office was also rude and not helpful when it comes to making appointments!!! After getting no return phone call for a week to schedule an appointment I stoped in, the woman at the desk not only made it clear she wasn’t going to help but she was rude as well….and clearly upset I interrupted her from her phone. I finally got a card for each doctor that she hesitated to provide me with and handed me them with a smug attitude!!!So I could schedule with a DR after requesting three different ways for more help!! As an employee of SBUH I’m just disgusted and disappointed patients are treated this way we have to do better then this.
