CityMD Lake Grove Urgent Care - Long Island

The medical staff was Great and Friendly! The Two at the desk , told me everything was all set. I leave. When I get home I get a can saying I forgot to fill out workmans comp paperwork. False it was never brought up. OK. Send me an email. Response. We don't have the capacity to send that as an email. Hung up on. I go back ask for the paperwork. Worker denies hanging up.. other employee highlights where I need to provide info. And a little extra knowing I wouldn't know my case# etc. These two. Need to understand customers there are patients. Ok. The workmans comp file Oops benefit of doubt. But the extra highlights on and with purpose. - 2 stars for that stunt and denial of hanging up on me. City md should know the games people play .. Insures I will be going to a different

Very bad experience here. Went in twice for the same thing within a week, and got two completely different diagnoses even though my lab results were the same both times. Ended up having to go to the ER to get a clear picture of what was wrong. Not to mention when I felt faint in the exam room they gave me an ice pack and water, closed the door and did not come back in for over 10 minutes. I ended up just leaving the room on my own after I felt better. Nobody was even paying enough attention to notice. Would not recommend.

The blond/red head at the front desk is super unprofessional. Eating at the desk, didn’t bother to acknowledge me just said scan the QR code to check in or I can do it. Then proceeded to carry on a personal phone conversation for the whole waiting room to hear. I’m not feeling good about this visit and it just started. I’ll keep ye’all posted. Update ~ The nurse and doctor were wonderful and thorough. The bathroom had no seat covers or paper towels which made giving a pee sample gross. While waiting for the doctor the front desk staff were giggling and chatting like teenagers. Had to see the receptionist again for my referrals and had to ask how the process worked. When she was done I had to ask if she was done because she stopped talking and I was just standing in front of her. Not pleasa

I had a terrible experience when I went to city Md on Monday December 1,2025 in lake grove ny. I first approached the person behind the desk who really didn’t seem liked her job and had insurance on file that I have never had , so that had to be changed. Then I went into the exam room And the assistant didn’t know how to take a correct blood pressure, then the doctor came in and basically asked me if I knew what was wrong and basically diagnose myself. Why would I come here if I could do that I said. Then someone from an Asian country calls me with the test results. He sounded like a robot and told me what to take and I asked what does it do and he said he didn’t know And that he would look it up on google. I feel a nurse or doctor should have called me someone that was qualified. I thin

What an absolute disappointment. I called in with with a broken hand. I said I would be there at 11:01. That’s what my uber said. I couldn’t afford an ambulance or an ER visit. They said “MY MANAGER SAID WE ARE LOCKING OUR DOORS AT 11, IF YOU GET HERE AT 11:01 TJE DOORS ARE LOCKED”. They then forwarded me to a manager. And it went moot. The call was rejected. Whoever works at the desk on Tuesday nights should be fired. And I will be calling ethics departments.
