After so many poor experiences with dental procedures, I finally found a place that makes me look forward to being taken care of! Dr. Dawson is phenomenal!! She thoroughly heard out each of my concerns and treated me with the absolute best care. The entire team works together to provide great service. Thank you to each of the team members (especially Brittney) who have cared for me! I couldn’t be more thankful to feel confident about the health of my teeth again.
Went here for an appointment because they were the quickest to get me in for a cleaning. Told me I had to pay out of pocket for x-rays that have already been done and my insurance covers, and after reading other reviews I see that’s how they make their money. They even told me over the phone my insurance covered it. Also funny they only charge $99 to people without insurance but wanted me to pay $120 for the same thing? Not to mention the receptionist was rude after I said I wasn’t paying it. No wonder so many people don’t go get dental care, it’s genuinely sad.
I wish I could rate this place with zero stars. I had one of the most frustrating experiences I’ve ever had at a dental office with Stonecreek Dental in Chillicothe. I showed up early for my appointment, checked in, and was immediately told I needed to pay before my cleaning—so I did. After that, I was told to have a seat and that I’d be called back shortly. Twenty minutes later, instead of being taken back for my appointment, I was called up to the desk and casually informed that my appointment was being moved to tomorrow because they double-booked. No apology. No sense of urgency. No recognition that I took an entire day off work to be there. Just a very nonchalant “we’re moving you to tomorrow.” I ended up canceling completely because if this is how they handle scheduling and patient
I had a very frustrating experience with this dental office. On the day of my appointment, they asked me to come in earlier, and I explained that I was unable to do so. Despite that, they called me multiple times that same day to confirm I was still coming, which felt excessive and unnecessary. When I arrived for my scheduled appointment, I sat in the dental chair for an extremely long time waiting for someone to even begin my visit. After finally being seen by the dentist, I then had to wait yet again for a long period to receive my information so I could leave. To make matters worse, I was told they would call me to schedule the follow-up appointment for the work I needed done. No one ever called. I eventually followed up myself and was told someone would get back to me — and I never hea
I was a patient of theirs for several years. Had a lot of different cavities filled, root canals and crowns done there. I stopped going in 2023 after two or three visits that were down right painful. Not because of the procedure but because the person doing them was rough. Not only the dentist but the dental assistant. The final straw was a crown placement after a root canal (root canal done by a specialist). The crown did not fit properly. The dentist started grinding down the filling on the tooth below it to get the crown to fit because he and the assistant were in a hurry to spend time with a guest in the office.
