StoneBridge Senior Living - Maryland Heights

I speak for my whole family when I say we love Stonebridge! Our dad fell and broke his hip in April. Even after several weeks in rehab my dad could not return to Independent Living with my mom. The rehab center recommended Stonebridge to us, so I called Stonebridge and their response was pretty amazing. Wendi, the admissions director, welcomed us warmly and spent all the time with us that we needed to know Stonebridge was the right place. It is one of the only family-run facilities still in existence in the Midwest and thank God for it. The staff is not only professionally competent they are also very obviously emotionally invested in their residents and the families. Visited a family member at StoneBridge in Maryland Heights and it wasn't a clean place it smelled and the workers were sitting down or on their phones not attending to the patients!!!!! The staff there aren't concerned for the patients care. That facility needs to be Closed!!!!!

I visited here yesterday. It was immaculate. Every single room was so clean. It smelled fresh. The residents were having a nice time watching Price is Right on a massive big screen TV. All of the staff were so nice. Smiles from everyone. It was just wonderful. So much staff!!! So friendly!!! From Social Workers to dietary, to housekeeping, all so approachable!!!

SERIOUS NEGLECT! Please do not take your family member or friend to Stonebridge in Maryland Heights, this facility has an administrator and upper management that doesn't care about the residents. It is an uncaring, neglectful and awful facility. My mother was there for almost 3 years, she had a hospital visit Feb 2024, she was severely dehydrated, malnutrition and her sodium was sky high. My mother had numerous bed sores, infections and bruises. There are very few staff members that truly care, most of them sit on their phones, watching a movie/videos. Too busy to know what is going on in the building. The facility remains very short staffed . The few we trusted definitely weren't paid enough to care for 17 to 20 residents alone. If you have a loved one please never use this facility. Although I don’t have proof, I’m pretty sure they are the reason my father died. He died of blunt force trauma and bled internally from improper handling of my father during a bed transfer. That, along with the place smelling of urine and poop. We had to hold our nose every time we walked the halls. My dad also had a hole in the exterior wall of his room that you could see through. Their solution was to put duct tape on it and paint over it. My dad never got his meds on time and he never was able to get a nurse in. Do yourself and your loved one a favor and never step foot in this place.
