Steele Vision – Steele Michael P OD – Costco Optometry Department

I really wanted to like Dr. Steel‘s office! My first time visiting, they were pleasant and friendly. That all changed when I went to pick up my prescription glasses. Unfortunately, the glasses are not correct and the staff treated me like I was some kind of bad guy. They told me “I just needed to get used them and that they couldn’t help me today.” They were rude and unfriendly. Seriously, I walked out of there thinking that I had caused a great injustice by the way they were treating me and made me feel. It’s a two hour trip for me, I didn’t expect to be treated so poorly by doctor Steele’s staff, not to be confused with the Costco staff. So discouraged!!!

I had a very good experience on 5/7/25 at the Highlands Plaza location inside of Costco. The staff & Dr. Steele was so kind, professional, knowlegeable and made sure I was comfortable with my prescription, asked me questions that made a difference without rushing me on anything. Now I can see into the future..lol or Mars :) Thank you for your wonderful customer service Charlotte

I had my annual eye exam this year (2023) with Dr. Steele. He was charming, affable, funny, and explained everything far better than any Eye Doctor that I have seen previously. His support staff was kind and professional as well. For those reasons, I would strongly recommend Dr. Steele for any and all of your needs regarding the health of your eyes. I will definitely go back.

Dr. Steele has taken care of me and our family for over a decade! He has helped me find specialist for my eye disease and is incredibly kind! He is very detailed and takes the time to make sure my vision is improving! I highly recommend him!!
