Dr Parekh wasted over a year of my life stringing me along with excuses about “concerns” instead of being honest. I jumped through every hoop she asked—labs, diet, exercise—and when I followed through, she shifted the goalposts again and acted like she suddenly cared about the cost. She doesn’t know my financial situation and didn’t bother to ask. Meanwhile, I missed the window when my insurance would’ve covered a GLP-1. Her delays directly cost me access and money. It’s not that she said no—it’s that she didn’t have the guts to say no. I can respect a firm stance. I don’t respect passive deflection that wastes time and puts patients at risk. We have been going to this clinic for almost 3 years. The care was great at first but as we got older and Medicare became our primary insurance we have been treated like second class citizens. It's all about the money and not patient care. Patients are not heard here, everything is done according to the guidelines set forth because no one is an individual in this office, Be compliant or else. Patients are merely objects who must adhere to the rules and regulations. I don't think anyone genuinely cares in this office. It's strictly going through the motions and getting compensated.
My whole family goes here. My elderly parents, my wife and myself. The office staff is always professional. The doctors and nurse practitioner and other medical staff take time to listen and are always concerned for our well being. We've been going here for the past 5+ years and it's always been a very good experience for all of us. I recommend this facility without hesitation.
We were patients of this office for 7 years but unfortunately can't recommend it anymore. Seems due to some changes the office organization got screwed. My wife accidentally got a knee issue(skiing) and after visiting ER I scheduled an appointment at 4pm Jan-03 and specially mentioned it's very painful for her to ride now so please make a most from this visit. We arrived at 4pm and were asking to wait. At 4:45 we were informed there is still one more patient ahead of us and we need to wait for 15 more minutes. At 5:10 we were told the same again. If you run our of schedule - what was a problem to call me ahead (before 4pm) and inform about possible delay? Or tell it me right after my arrival at 4 and do not force us to sit for hours at reception? Unprofessional.
Today my wife started calling the danville office at 9am when they are supposed to be open for an appointment and she was unable to get through so i called and was placed on hold by the automated system i sat on hold for 45 minutes and the recording kept say we are busy helping other customers, at 09:54 someone from the danville office answered the phone and because i was frustrated i asked why was i on hold for 45 minutes and she stated that she did not put me on hold, i stated the system did, during this time my wife drove from pleasanton to danville and there sat the receptionist doing nothing. why do they not do there job and answer the phone and help the patients, i have been with bay valley for 10 plus yrs and i have never had this poor of customer service ever and to top it off they
