Every one treated me with care & compassion. The check-in was quick & smooth. My Dr. was knowledgeable and concise. I felt more at ease after discussing a plan with him. I'm thankful for the Dr's wisdom and care by his entire staff. My lab blood draw was amazing and pain free! I highly recommend this to anyone who needs expert attentive services. The various Dr's/Surgeon's are all nestled in nearby in this S Austin location--a tremendously convenient solution for all of us!
On February 26th we had a baby but I must say the quality of their services: - The nurses - The food - The way they unite - The way they communicate - The way they show empathy They always perform very well, better than their own parents to the kid. To be honest I've been so impressed. Thank you so much for the training and the hospitality you guys provided to us. My wife has been delivered a normal delivery. I really appreciate your help. God bless each and every individual who has been working in this institute. God bless the HR. God bless the training team. God bless the people who put the effort. From the bottom of my heart, I wish you a good fortune. Every individual who works in this hospital had a very good time. Thank you so much. You've been so awesome.
My father-in-law was recently discharged from St. David’s South Austin Medical Center, and his experience was deeply concerning. He was left lying in urine after being told someone would return to help him — no one did. His meal tray was removed before he even knew it had arrived. He was not assisted with basic hygiene or helped out of bed. During his stay, he developed pneumonia and a UTI, and care felt inconsistent with different doctors each day and no clear coordination. We are grateful he is home, but he did not feel safe or adequately cared for. Families should be prepared to advocate closely for their loved ones.
Had a family member go in through the ER, have surgery and then stay for a week to manage wounds etc. From the ER staff to the trauma surgeon to the nurses and staff on the 7th floor we were so impressed with the quality of care received. There was one very impressive tech, staff member Ihla, who was with us on the 7th floor for 2 days back to back and she was absolutely amazing! She was so sweet and attentive and made our last two days there actually very pleasant! Also the nurses were just top notch and let’s be honest these guys are doing all of the hard work! We never waited to get the care we needed! The hospital food could improve some but that would literally be my only complaint. The free garage parking was a nice bonus. And the coffee from the robot coffee machine in the main l
I had outpatient hip replacement surgery and I have a mixed opinion of the care I received. Some things were great, other things not so much. I was contacted by a nurse a week before surgery with detailed instructions. I was told to wait by the phone at a specific time the day before surgery to learn when to arrive. The call didn't come and I started to get worried so I tracked down who was to call me through admissions. I answered lots of questions and was given more instructions. The next day, I arrived at 6 am for registration and it went smoothly. I had my blood drawn and then was called for surgery. The staff was very efficient and helpful before surgery. The doctor and anesthesiologist came by. I felt confident that all will be good. Then I was whisked off to a surgery room. After b
