St. David's North Austin Medical Center Emergency Room

I have never in my life been assaulted much less had harm inflicted to the point I could lose my life because of a POLICY infraction that this hospitals nurses and their security team put as a priority over my healthcare. I was a patient in ICU with a rare disorder and I was on life support and life sustaining measures when a vape fell out of my purse while I was looking for a charger for my phone. I would not allow the security to illegally search my belongings after I surrendered the prohibited device and they proceeded to discharge me against drs orders telling me I have no 4th amendment rights. After this they proceeded with a Forced against medical advice discharge…the drs didn’t think I should leave but I was forced to discharge and they actually assaulted me in my hospital bed becau

My friend cycled into and out of St. David's NAMC in 2023 and had surgery here in November 2025. Overall good care, clean facility. Check in and reception staff seem nice, but it is a hospital, you may be seeing it when you're not at your best.

I went to St David's from Nova recovery center and was dropped off by the EMS for hernia pain and major migraines they treated me with respect and I had difficulty waking up and they moved me to they're waiting area while still under medication and not completely coherent I had a walkie-talkie that said nurse on it and they removed it and kept it in their ER which I am not aware who my doctor was or the treating physician due to my dedicated state they called my family who were not able to come pick me up and eventually got a hold of the Nova recovery specialists home pick me up later. There seem to be soon agitation on their part because they're inability to wake me up they left me in the ER sitting area and not once check on me I don't recall much that happened there other than they gave

I recently had an ER visit due to the ice storm and actually had an amazing experience, aside from my fractured ankle. From the moment I arrived, I was assisted to the ER by attentive staff. Although the ER was extremely busy with other Slip/Fall patients (apparently around 95%) I felt cared for the process proceed as efficiently as it could. Shout out to my PA's and Dr "Charlie" whose bedside manner were beyond professional, they were courteous and kind. Even the nursing staff and CT department were commendable. They (Doc and PA) even followed up in the days following directly by phone to ask how I was doing. Not at all what I expected. Pain management was proactive without having to beg or wait. I received great care when I was at the ER at Saint David’s North Austin Medical Center. They were attentive, caring and timely. My nurse Chris was extremely attentive and on top of things. He was one of the best if not the best nurse I’ve ever had.
