SSM Health Urgent Care

Thank god for this urgent care. I did have to wait a bit but you could tell the staff was busy and working hard. It's flu season and I just know they were getting their butts kicked with an influx of patients. They saw me, got me tested for the flu (which I did have) and made sure to get me on the proper medications to help me get through it. While in the waiting room I had to listen to a whiny grown man being aggressive and threatening toward staff. I wish people would realize the staff is going as fast as they can. Not everything in life is immediate. Thank you for everything you do guys! I appreciate you.

Despite advertising as an Urgent Care, they have a “policy of billing as a hospital emergency room”. If you have a copay for urgent care, this fraudulent billing practice will not be covered and will end up hitting your deductible as an ER visit (I.e. out of pocket). Absolutely crooked billing practice.

I called before I came to see if they had the ability there to fix what I needed fixed. When I got there, I waited an hour and a half just for the NP to not see me and the nurse to be able to tell me it was not possible. Wouldn’t be a big deal if they had asked the NP when I called, but instead they made sure I waited while in immense pain.

My daughter went to this urgent care! They are a joke! She went because she had pain in her lower right abdomen, they told her they needed a urine sample but she wasn’t able to give one so instead of doing some other type of test ( bloodwork or xray) they told her to either come back when she could give a urine sample or she could go to ER. Then my daughter read the after care notes they wrote stuff in the notes to cover their butts that wasn’t true so they wouldn’t get in trouble or sued for turning her away without finding out why she was having this pain! Nice job Ssm urgently care in Arnold!!

We are so impressed with our visit to this urgent care! Our daughter woke up sick on her birthday and the staff here did an amazing job. They got us in and out quickly, and even made her a goodie bag for her birthday. This wasn’t where we wanted to be today, but they went above and beyond.
