Speech & Language Center at Stone Oak

My daughter has been going to the Speech and Language Center since she was less than a year old. The therapists worked on feeding when she was little to improving her language skills. We are now 5 years old and about to graduate! I cannot say enough about how the whole team has worked so well, how accommodating they are, and the care they show my daughter. We have worked with Ms. Valinda, Ms.Kelly, and Ms. Taylor. Their knowledge and compassion for the work they do is incredible. Would highly recommend using the Speech and Language Center.

We started here in the summer of 2024 and after a year and a half, our son is graduating! We got to work with several different therapists here, and while all were excellent, Ms. Mehren was our son’s favorite. The one on one format and the different techniques they used allowed him to make huge improvements much faster than the regular group therapy at school. We also always had great interactions with the front desk staff, they even let my kids borrow pencils to do homework when they forgot. We would highly recommend Speech and Language Center Stone Oak to anyone that needs speech and language services!

Ms. Ana has been such a blessing to our family. Our daughter Emma began seeing her when she was just about 15 months old, and now at 4.5 years old, the growth we’ve seen is nothing short of incredible. Ms. Ana has truly become family to us. She has been a constant source of support, not only for Emma, but for us as parents as well. She has been a shoulder to cry on, someone to lean on, and a guiding light through our journey. Through her patience, knowledge, and genuine care, Ms. Ana has taught Emma so much and has helped us learn how to best support her at home. Emma has grown exponentially under her care, and most importantly, she truly found her voice with Ms. Ana. We will forever be grateful for the impact she has had on Emma’s life and on our family. I cannot recommend her enough.

Ms. Eeman is great. Our teenage daughter is autistic and can be very stubborn when she doesn't want to do something. Ms. Eeman is so patient with her, but at the same time doesn't let her get away with anything! We appreciate that. Our daughter has been in speech therapy since she was 2 years old and was considered non-verbal. Despite this diagnosis, she has made great progress in the last few years (she can even speak in 3 and 4 word sentences now!) and we owe it to Ms. Eeman and all the therapists she's worked with over the years at Speech & Language Center at Stone Oak. We visited two other speech clinics before this, and honestly, finding the Speech and Language Center at Stone Oak has been the best thing. Our speech therapist is wonderful, and the front desk ladies are just as amazing. Everyone is warm, welcoming, and always ready to help with anything we need.
