Southpointe Healthcare and Rehabilitation

I was a patient here for two weeks, after 2 weeks in the hospital for surgeries on my leg after a car accident. I found the staff to all be helpful and generally cheerful, caring and attentive. My stay was pleasant enough and the physical therapy I received helped me gain the strength and mobility necessary to be able to go home, altho in a wheelchair. It was a long road for me and I must say that what I learned about strength and safety from my PT team stays with me to this day, almost 3 years later. The office staff was phenomenal. Remember, even thru the pain, it is what you make it. Stay positive.

What a difference two years make! My mother was there following a stroke, I didn’t want to place my dad there 2 months ago but I am so glad that I did! He graduates next week and gets to return home with mom. I didn’t imagine he would be home so quickly and in great shape! I am near tears as I write this, I am so grateful. I was able to sleep at night knowing he was safe and was being well cared for. The staff are more polite and the whole place is so much cleaner than before. I have met with everyone on the staff and was very impressed with the administrator, Carol, she is wonderful and my dad and mom love her! Highly recommend.

Most other there staff friendly and I saw them treat the residence with great care. Clean good up keep on facility. They will give tour if asked so you can see.

My brother was a resident there for about 3 years. It started out ok because we didn’t know too much about the care. My brother was always in the hospital because of the laziness and lack of care in this facility! He was hospitalized for the same thing 6 times (infections from lack of care and cleanliness ) and the last time was the worst because he almost died , in ICU always but the last time in the hospital for over 30 days because of nastiness! They don’t have qualified help they only people that wants a paycheck. My uncle died there and was there for rehab only and because of the laziness of the staff and non caring staff he died because of nastiness. This facility is not the place for your loved ones!!the residents lay in there feces, urine and the staff close the doors to keep the

Would not let my dog stay there!!! My family member lost so much weight there. Fell out of the bed 4 times(paralyzed from the waist down). People would never answer the phone and rarely called back.
