I really enjoyed spending time at Southpark Meadows Nursing and Rehabilitation Center recently. The energy in the building was warm and welcoming, and it was great to see residents genuinely engaged and enjoying themselves. Marsha does an excellent job creating fun, thoughtful activities, and the whole team was friendly and supportive. A special thank you as well to Sylvia in social services for being so welcoming. It’s clear this is a place where people care about the community they serve.

If you’re looking at a place like this, chances are you’re facing the uncomfortable reality of needing 24/7 care for a loved one that no one in your family is able OR willing to take care of. Take a tour, see some activities, meet the staff (kitchen, therapists, techs, coordinators), and thank them. I toured 8 facilities in the Austin area and for the last year, this facility has been caring and kind to my dad. He is 88 and had multiple brain surgeries after a fall. The therapists helped him relearn to walk, swallow and heal. I’m willing to bet that most spicy reviews are from family members who are feeling guilty and angry their loved ones even need to go into a facility like this. No one wants to put their family in a facility and often that frustration makes you want to blame someone.

I want to thank everyone that was there to care for my family member. I was very pleased with the overall cleanliness of the facility. I toured 3 times at different hours and it never smelled or was dirty. The food was something that I would not have eaten but I was not the one there. If you do not speak Spanish please get translation on your phone. The staff did their best to communicate with me and I really appreciated it. My family member will be returning there again in the Skilled Nursing area and I expect the same care again. Would recommend this Nursing Home: Rehab facility to anyone looking

Compassion My experience with Southpark Nursing Home has been nothing short of outstanding. The staff is incredibly attentive, kind, and truly dedicated to the well-being of every resident. From the moment we walked in, we felt a warm and welcoming atmosphere that put our family at ease. The facility is clean, well-maintained, and provides a comfortable environment for residents. The medical staff is knowledgeable and always responsive, ensuring that every individual gets the care they need. Activities and social events keep residents engaged, and the food is great!!!

My grandmother needed to go to rehab. Southpark meadows was good. She enjoyed the food. The staff took very good care of her. PT was a success. Their director takes care of any issues almost instantly! Anytime I had a question or concern Tyler took care of it right away. Sadly her insurance stopped paying and she had to start paying out of pocket. It got pricey. The one thing I would say is they need decorations on the walls. Especially in the rooms.
