South Texas Radiology Group

My son had brain surgery in 2022 at Methodist Stone Oak Hospital back in 2021. Before the surgery an MRI of his brain was ordered. South Texas Radiology Group was the team that performed the MRI. Everything went well with the surgery and my son has fully recovered. HOWEVER, we have been getting a bill from STRG for $441.00 dollars since early 2023. After contacting Blue Cross and Blue Shield of Texas about why they paid zero dollars for this claim, I was told that it was denied because of a lack of authorization request. After calls to Methodist and STRG and messages from BCBS, I was finally told just a few weeks ago that STRG was the one responsible for seeking the authroization and nobody else. I've spent probably 3 or more hours on the phone trying to get someone to take responsibility
