I'm not a massage-taker, but an orthopedist physician friend suggested I try a rolfing session to see if it would improve an injury to my right biceps 6 months ago that hasn't improved. It was easy to make an appointment with Rachel and get myself inside. She began by explaining the concept and then how she would spend some of the session focusing on my problem. That is what she did. What she knows and explains about posture is excellent and useful. For my injured biceps, she explained that rolfing focuses on the ends, not the belly of the long muscle. She found my biceps very tense and recommended I rest it without exercise for a prolonged period afterward--wise advice I wish I'd thought of. The session was very useful to me and unrushed. I highly recommend.

Rachel is exceedingly passionate and dedicated to her clients and practice. I really appreciated all of the knowledge that she explained about the technique, and the tips she gave me to continue the work of readjusting my body after the session. After my visit to her beautiful studio I felt so much better in my body and taken care of.

Went to Rachel for the first time on three consecutive days when I was really in a bind. Am a disabled, semi-retired healthcare professional (Teacher, Coach, Athletic Director, and Personal Trainer) with multiple autoimmune conditions, and have had experience with rolfing for 32 years. She's been in practice for two years, which is considered relatively "new" for a rolfer, but she is experienced beyond way beyond that. She loves what she does, and has years of experience in competitive sports, and the health, fitness and training fields before she became a rolfer. She draws on those by having many resources, knowing many contacts, and knowing many different ways to relate to, and help a patient with their specific situation. She's highly skilled, and approaches rolfing with a practical
