Skylands Urgent Care West Milford

My dermatologist asked me to get a throat culture swab for a current strep infection I have. (I've done multiple labs for this. I have it and I'm fully asymptomatic) Doctor tells me she can't give me the stronger antibiotics because the rapid test came up negative. She refused to look at my lab reports at first until I literally made her look at them and it just tells her that I was infected at some point even though the test was literally taken 2 days before I went to see her. Her attitude was very smug about what my dermatologist thought I had even though I have been dealing with this for years. I have psoriasis all over my body because of this infection and she refused to treat me. Even though I have multiple lab reports saying otherwise. Paid a $75 copay just to be told we can't help y

Made an appointment last night for today at 10 AM. I filled out the paperwork online and was taken within 5 minutes of my appointment. Everyone very pleasant and nice. I don't believe I saw a doctor either a nurse practitioner or physicians assistant. She didn't say but I had a sore throat for a few days and needed an antibiotic which they sent to the pharmacy next door I was in and out within 20 minutes. I will go here again because it's convenient and the service was great nice to have them in town.

Went here Jan 2026 for some unnerving symptoms and to try and avoid an ER visit. Amanda was so kind, and empathetic to the situation. Carlos was great. Kirsten the PA brought me to tears with her care, kindness and help in getting a CT scan that same afternoon even though it was after 3pm. This team is dynamite. THANK YOU SO MUCH!!!

Front desk staff is nice. However, the PA'S they have are hit or miss. Battling a 102 degrees fever and was only given a Tameflu no antibiotics. Had to go to the hospital cause my fever, got worse.
