Shaw's Osco Pharmacy

Extremely slow at filling prescriptions. A few weeks ago I went in to check on a prescription and was told to give them 15 minutes to fill it, did not get it till the next day. I sent in a refill request and after 2 days of not hearing, reached out and found it they had not sent over the refill request to the doctors office yet. I am moving all my prescriptions after i get this one filled. These past two examples are not the first and are a pattern.

I use to go to CVS for decades but one unforgettable and forgivable thing that happened to me with one of my medications which I needed and they wouldn’t fill because the pharmacist was profiling me and I left for a month in a business vacation without my medication which gave me a seizure from the sudden cold Turkey stop that was totally unnecessary. I left and went here where my mom and rest of my family goes and build a great relationship with the pharmacist, unfortunately many of them move away or retire but they bring new ones that are just as great. They treat you with respect, they always let you know if you need to call to make sure they have it meds in stock, they always build a relationship with their customers. Love this pharmacy also it’s great to knock two birds with one stone

Waited for CVS to fill a prescription for over a week and then was texted a message saying they contacting my provider for an alternative medication. They told my provider they couldn't get the medication and suggested she switch my medication over to a less effect less convenient medication. My provider cotacted meand i called this Osco pharmacy and they had the drug in stock and i had it a few hours later. Because the drug required a Prior authorization. I had to call a couple of times and never once was I put on hold or did I have to wait like I usually do with CVS.
