Brookline Dermatology Associates

I am extremely disappointed with Northeast Dermatology Associates due to non-transparent and unethical billing practices. I scheduled what was clearly a preventative dermatology visit, which is fully covered by my insurance. During the appointment, a nurse briefly asked if she could “relieve pressure” from a very small pimple. I agreed, with zero disclosure that this minor action would re-code the visit as a medical procedure and completely change the billing. As a result, my appointment was billed as a procedure, totaling $509.23, with $432 out-of-pocket — for something that took seconds and was never explained as billable. Ashley is the best dermatologist I have ever been to in my whole entire life. She is extremely professional, Personable and most of all caring. She doesn’t dismiss any of my skin concerns and is always willing to help me explore different treatments and what’s best for my skin. I cannot recommend her enough. Always a positive experience. The office is efficiently run, the staff friendly and professional and Dr. Wang is thorough and skilled. He answers all questions in a patient, clear manner. Highly recommend.

I met with Dr Megan Bernstein recently for the first time. She gave me some good practical advice for skin issues that I have and I highly recommend her. Will be going back to her for all follow ups.
