Severn River Animal Hospital

Unfortunately, I will not take my dog there again. I switched to this practice since my husband’s employer offers a discount through a program called Pet Assure, and Severn River Vet Hospital is the only one that accepts it other than another located a little too far away for me to drive to. This was our first and last visit to this vet. My dog was due for an annual well check and Lyme vaccine and that was what the a lot was made for. Issues: *My dog wasn’t greeted, spoken to or comforted by the tech or Dr. GENDI at all *Dr. GENDI did NOT do a full exam or in any shape or form a thorough one based on what’s common practice for an exam *I’m used to my dog’s temp being taken, ears and eyes being examined with the instrument that has a light at the end, body examined as far as muscles, checki

I arrived 10 minutes early to my appointment and was brought back immediately. I was in and out in about 30-40 minutes. Everyone was very kind and answered my questions. I even got a little goodie bag as a new patient. I highly recommend this office for your routine checkups.

My pitbull lab mix has been visiting this location since she was about 12 weeks, and we've never had any problems until recently, the customer service for this location has gone downhill. For one, my mom would sometimes reach out to the vet on my behalf, and she was met with nothing but rudeness and unkindness from Dr. Gendi, the male doctor, and his receptionist, Makenna. You call to ask questions regarding your pet, and you get the run-around. The doctor never seems to be in the office when we call, and they make you feel like it's a burden. Unfortunately, we will be ending our service with this animal hospital, and I hope in the future they take this feedback seriously.

Everyone here is so willing to help and love on my puppy Sidney. Everyone there at this point has become her new best friend! I was worried when they took her back to do her vaccines and clip her nails, as she didn’t get much experience with that prior to us getting her, that she was going to freak out. She didn’t, and they did it quickly and easily (with lots of treats of course) They’ve been so responsive to my questions via email (even if some may be self explanatory) Thank you to the entire Severn River AH Team!

Severn River Animal Hospital has been wonderful with our new dog! We discovered that he had heartworm, and they provided us with a detailed plan of treatment that is reasonably priced compared with other vet offices. They also scheduled an emergency same day vet visit and next day surgery when our dog ate a chew toy and ended up with an intestinal blockage. The staff is kind, helpful, and responsive and always willing to provide documentation and answer questions. I highly recommend them!
