My girlfriend came here because of excruciating stomach pains, and they did a CT scan on her. Then checked her blood sugar levels because shes diabetic. She had just gotten off of work and hadn't taken her night shot yet, and the Dr's told her because she was refusing to stay the night they wouldnt disclose the results of her CT scan. The staff were absolutely rude to her and stayed on their phones rather than talk to her. Would be interesting to get the hospital under investigation for fraud. Charging for services and not giving results is fraud. If I could give less than 1 star I absolutely would.
I have my chemotherapy here,the nurses are super good to me always checking to see if I need anything during my time there. Love my doctor and nurses.
It was the worse hospital I ever was in . Respiratory people were the worse. Gave me all my inhalers and breathing treatments but never gave me anything to rinse my mouth out with. I was to weak and sick to think about it. Came home with thrush all in my mouth. It was hard to get a nurse to come in and help me with going to the bathroom. And they complained about my husband staying in there with me . And the one nurse had me in tears the last day I was there . I guess they are overworked. My husband could have been a big help.
This hospital has gone down since sentara bought it. Staff has to follow silly procedures. Why have e check in when you have to do it again when you arrive. Don't even get me started on the new metal detector and the wannabe cop security guards. Thank god my new insurance will be accepted at Centra. Go to lynchburg or duke!
This place should get no stars. They can't help people on the weekend because everyone is off. What hospital does that. No pillows to help prop up. Maybe I should buy some at Walmart and bring them some. I can't even call 911 when I have an emergency Thanks for reducing the population because you didn't want to work on the weekends Stroke or heart attack on the weekend DEAD. Responsibilities...ummm not today
