Today I was eleven minutes late for my appointment. I hit a little traffic on the way, and that's on me. I then spent 6 minutes waiting in the lobby because only one elevator was working. (I kept checking my phone because I couldn't believe how long it was taking.) When I tried to check in, I was told that I would have to reschedule the appointment because I was late. I had waited almost 8 months to see this new doctor as my previous one had left the practice. After speaking to the office manager I was told that they had already taken the patient scheduled after me, and that appointments are only scheduled to last 15 minutes. I have been a patient of Dr Goldberger’s for 30 years … she is leaving the group. I tried 4 Dr’s to schedule a new patient appointment…none are taking new patients. I was beside myself … finally a very nice booker helped me to find a Dr .. I love SMG and want to stay with them … but your good doctors are not taking new patients. The caliber of Dr Goldberger should be available to her patients….

Great group of Doctors . Recently Dr. Marvin Lipman retired but always knew that was a great team with him . My new primary now is now Michael Finkelstein .

I have been a patient of SMG for over 40 years and have always been quite satisfied. My issue right now concerned the wait to get an appointment with a specialist. My primary physician referred me, but the earliest appointment was February of 2026. They did, though, respond with assistance and secured an appointment much earlier. Plus, they recognized that they needed another specialist in that area and hired one. Nice responsiveness to a problem.

They do have some good doctors but most front desk individuals and many phlebotomists are disinterested and rude. I have complained many times. Staying because I lime my doctor. The group went downhill after they were taken over by White Plains Hospital It’s a pity Addendum to the review above. Staff-related issues continue. Front desk continues to be aloof. They asked me to sign a new form on an electronic note pad without even showing me what it was; when I insisted on seeing what I was signing for the receptionist was visibly irritated. Then I was called in and to my luck I had the same rude tech (David?) who pointed me to a room with his back facing me. Then when he came to the room to draw my blood, he addressed me with my first name as the last name. When I wanted to correct it i
