I am honored to express my gratitude to Dr. Zelicof for his amazing ability to replace my hips and give me a new life without bone-on-bone pain. I can't thank you enough. The numerous staff at Specialty Orthopedics and Montefiore New Rochelle Hospital who helped prepare me for surgery and cared for me post-surgery were really wonderful. What a remarkable team! I want to personally thank Courtney, Marc, and Michelle for your assistance in setting up everything for me with such detailed instruction. Dr. Zelicof performed right hip replacement on 1/20/26 and I was released the same day. After experiencing a little pain the first night nothing since. My recovery has been terrific and all the staff at specialty orthopedic and the surgical facility have been great. Been walking without walker and barely the cane. Had follow up visit with Dr Zelicof today,2/5/26, and have been cleared to resume most activities including driving. Thank You feel 100% better

I know that I could not have chosen a more skilled surgeon than Dr. Zelicof for my two knee replacements(in one year). From my first appointment, he explained every step of the replacement process. And it is a process. I knew exactly what his role was, which he performed with incredible skill and quiet confidence. But I also knew what my role was in my recovery process. Furthermore, the staff at Specialty Orthopedics was efficient and caring. A special thanks goes to Courtney Kuhn the PA assigned to me. She couldn’t have been more responsive and knowledgeable and I felt that I really was in good hands.

Dr Zelicof was an amazing surgeon my experience was wonderful from start to finish with a hip replacement . DrZ called me each day after the surgery for three days to see how I was doing and the results are great! No pain anymore new hip has been a new lease on walking, exercise and all!
