Sampson Dental Group - Powell Dentist

I've only been going to Sampson Dental Group for the past year. People, they have bent over backwards to help my dental needs. Dr Krothapalli and his team are amazing. I've had nothing but respect for their expertise in preforming all dental needs. If I've had any problem it is taken care of immediately. They are very personable, patient, appointments on time, and give nothing but help to anyone with dental needs! I have nothing but respect for this practice. Everyone that works in the Powell office treated me not only as a patient, but they treat you as a human being.

Don't go here, more than a few years ago, I went to Sampson Dental Group, and it was one of the worst dental experiences I’ve ever had. They completely botched a cavity filling, which led to severe, ongoing tooth pain. That one mistake eventually resulted in me needing a crown which I had to pay for out of pocket, costing me thousands of dollars. To make things worse, they canceled three appointments in a row all of which they had rescheduled because they didn’t have enough staff. I’ve never seen that level of disorganization in a dental office before. It was unprofessional and exhausting to deal with. Looking back, I have nothing but regret for ever trusting them with my dental care. And now I’m still paying the price for their mistakes literally and physically. Thanks for nothing

Hideous and unprofessional with bullying tactics and prey for pay. As a disabled veteran referred by my VA I will be taking a complaint to them letting them know all about this office and the erroneous billing charges and how the staff just about pushed me right over the edge. As a former military/VA dental assistant and a retired RN? I wouldn’t recommend this office to my worst enemy. They lost out on 60k worth of work due to Nicole and her bullying and woe is me victim-like tactics. I will not be silenced. You are fired. Stay away. Far away.

Excellent dental group if you like being threatened with litigation, having multiple claims submitted to your insurance for the same procedure (which then get denied and Sampson tries to say you owe the full amount) and flat out being lied to by staff when you have billing/insurance questions because of their profound stupidity. If you secretly hate someone, send them here. Pulling teeth is the least painful part. 10/10

This place is the most unorganized and unprofessional practice I have ever been in. They changed ownership several times in the past couple of years and that created chaos for their patients every time. In the past 30 days they cancelled and rescheduled my appointment three times. One of the reasons was their hygienist didn't show up on several occasions. One time they took x rays and said I had to do filling on one of my teeth and when I went in to do that they were pointing out to a different tooth. One time I had pain with one of my bottom teeth and they kept giving me completely different diagnosis every time I spoke to them-they kept changing their story.
