Saint Therese at St. Mary of the Woods is truly a wonderful community. From the moment you walk in, you feel welcomed by a team that is professional, compassionate, and genuinely dedicated to the well-being of every resident. The administrator, Michael, is kind, and it’s clear he cares deeply about maintaining such a positive environment. That said, Amanda, the HR Manager, truly stands out. She is responsive, thoughtful, and goes above and beyond to ensure both residents and staff feel supported and valued. Her warmth and professionalism make a lasting impression. The facility itself is beautiful, clean, and thoughtfully designed. The rooms are bright and comfortable, and the common areas are always well maintained. When this was run by St. Mary of the Woods it was a lovely place. When St. Therese took over in December 2024 it went downhill fast. The people who work there are so nice and very compasionate, however, the people who took over and are running the facility now are not so great. The food is not the best quality and some of the things that were once included in the already high price to live there are now an extra expense. They nickle and dime the people who live there. Not what I would call a "Christian, non-profit" way to run things. If you are in "assisted living" they now want to charge for the food to be delivered. If your are unable to get to the dining room to get your food because you need assistance, how is it OK to charge a fee to deliver the food to these people? I will agee it is

What a beautiful facility ! Activity and dining areas are brightly lit , wide open spaces and hallways making pleasurable inviting areas to be a part of . Many activities offered with caring staff encouraging residents to be engaged ! Well balanced healthy meals made to order as requested with many options and alternatives available . Food comes served to a beautifully decorated table with calming music playing in the background . As a family member, I was able to enjoy a few meals with my family member and the experience was terrific . Kudos to the dining staff as well. They work very hard to please all. Can’t say enough with how clean the whole place is and you’ll often be greeted by a warm welcome at the reception desk and others throughout the facility during your visit . Keep u

St. Therese at St. Mary of the Woods is a beautiful community with a wonderful, caring staff who truly go above and beyond. I was recently in the Independent Living and the residents were happy, engaged and are always encouraged to participate in meaningful activities. It is clear that this is a warm, supportive environment where everyone is treated with respect and compassion. Highly recommend!

If you are looking for a place for your loved one to be safe and truly cared for, then St Mary's of the Woods is just that place. My Mom had her PT and OT therapy at St Mary's after two separate hospital stays. I cannot say enough about the staff and care that the facility has provided to my Mom. In addition to the care, the rooms are very nice and the facility is super clean and well maintained. And, unlike other facilities, the food is the best in town and you actually have selections to pick from rather than just having one food option for everyone. Like I shared with a staff member, when my Mom came back for her second stay at St Mary's it felt like "coming home" and has become a safe haven for my Mom. St Mary's truly cares about their patients and residents like they are family.
