Safeway Pharmacy

Whoever does the hiring for these people need to fire whoever I spoke to last night that literally lied to me told me my medicine was being processed and it would be ready in half an hour, 10 mins before they close they call me & tell me they actually don't have my medicine and won't have it until next week & that even tho I have insurance I'd have to pay $1,000 for my script?!? Hell no! I will NEVER try to go to this one again.

I would give this pharmacy 0 stars if I could. I have never seen more incompetent pharmacy techs in my entire life. I literally stood there for 30 minutes while they figured out how to bill my insurance for a single prescription that was already filled, bagged, and ready to sign for. Another woman was having trouble with her prescription but was very calm and not rude at all. The pharmacist said "Just step aside because there are people behind you." I almost lost my cool.

Shout out to Jessica at the Westminster, MD location. She is ALWAYS polite, friendly & professional.

Have been very pleased with the male pharmacist, but the female "manager" pharmacist can be rude, loud and condescending. Sadly, I had just told my Dr. that she should send her patients to Safeway because the pharmacist was so very good. I ate crow and called the Dr and shared my experience, warning about how rude the pharmacy manager was and that given that I would suggest many other places first. Plus, they had me signing 2 things. I wondered what the second thing was and it turns out it was an authorization to have them ask for refills over and over.

My daughter is very complex. They have always gone out of their way to help .They are pleasant,non-judgmental and have gone up and beyond their call of duty to be of asaitance.Thank you pharmacy staff!
