Safeway Pharmacy

I have found service at this pharmacy to be excellent. I have had questions before, and talked with staff members, who have invariably been helpful, sometimes going out of their way. Sometimes the pharmacy is crowded and sometimes not. But this seems to be the case for all pharmacies. It's service that matters.

Super fast and friendly. Also got my flu shot while i waited for my prescription . Never done that before kindve convenient. .

Years ago, I wrote a good review because the store is okay. I tried to find a way to leave corporate a message with customer service, but I can't find anything online. Main problem? The pharmacy is completely understaffed. Today, March 18 around 3:30, I went to pick up an RX. I was #10 in line. One guy at the check out. One person on the left window doing something else without customers. One probable pharmacist behind the counter at the back. After waiting for over 5 minutes, the same person was still at the counter. I did the math. I'm not waiting 45 minutes. I put the $15 magazine I was going to buy back in the rack on my way out. A newer remodeled Safeway. I’d say it’s pretty darn nice inside clean, updated well stocked if you’re in the area definitely suggest the store.

When Una, the manger is there, things seem to go well and everyone is friendly.The pharmacist Kelsey on the other hand is awful! The 2nd worst pharmacist I've dealt with in my 20 years of going here. She purposely fills your meds late, forgets to fill some, and has a horrible attitude. I have to almost yell just to get her to fill my meds on time. Also is very hard to understand with a thick accent. Something very important when dealing with names of meds. She needs to go. If you happen to ask for refills when she's on shift, make sure you talk to them and tell them to make sure Kelsey hasn't put a later fill date for them. It's like she wants you to run out. And doesn't bother to put the pills into one bottle. Just gives me the 3 manufacturers bottles so I have to open them all, and put i
