Safeway Pharmacy

Pharmacist and tech on 08/30/25 were both very efficient and kind to my situation, were able to get my RX filled after the Walgreens across the street dropped the ball. (I used to be a pharmacy technician, both inpatient and CVS retail - and I felt they did a great job at communicating and showing consideration to my situation.)

Friendly and very helpful pharmacists, knowledgable and kind staff. A wonderful experience every time I pick up prescriptions.

Pharmacist was hideously rude and condescending. He acted like I was keeping him from more important things. Totally unacceptable. I will NEVER be back.

*Amending the original review... This pharmacy has had a complete change in staff and corresponding positive change in professionalism and level of service. I now recommend them to others* A medical "professional" should never take out their frustrations with staffing or policy on patients, especially when giving an injection. Poor needle placement and control, resulting from poor impulse control, can result in significant pain and bruising, lasting several days.

Have been to Safeway pharmacies in the past with decent experiences. This Safeway pharmacy in Monument Co. is by far the worst. Prescriptions sent electronically 36 hours prior to pick up and they are not ready. Asked why and IN A VERY LOUD VOICE FOR ALL PEOPLE STANDINGIN LINE TO HEAR: Sorry we are busy and your prescriptions for (--private--) should be ready in 30-50 minutes or you can come back tomorrow to pick them up. REALLY? Why not just announce over the loud speaker what my medication is and why it's needed! What a huge HIPPA violation. So, if meds are needed and you want everyone in the store to know what meds you need, go to this pharmacy! Oh, also give them more than a week to have it filled.
