The Burlingame Safeway remodel includes in the bakery section, a brand new bread slicer! Toss whatever uncut loaf you need to inside the automatic slicing machine. A few seconds later, your loaf comes out perfectly. Sliced and ready to re-bag. Really like what they did with the new Safeway remodel at this location in several different areas. The bread slicer is one of them. Of course. The remodel of the alcohol section with a new wine cooler is also fantastic. And generally the store looks much neater and cleaner and updated. Give the Berlin game California Safeway a try. I don't think you'll be disappointed.

Great pharmacy, Whinney, Racheal and the rest of the staff are outstanding. I have had multiple medications, surgeries and other issues- the staff here has been very helpful, patient and kind with me. They have made sure I understand all my medications. They have done a top notch job in all aspects. I appreciate all their help and kindness. 😎👍👍 Top Marks!

They never have my medication. I have transferred several medications here. Today I called them and transferred two at 10AM and when I went to pick them up at 7PM the pharmacist said they didn’t get the address from the other pharmacy, so I looked it up on my phone. Then he said they weren’t ready. Then he said they didn’t have either medication in stock. (I am a nurse and they are very common medications). I asked him why they didn’t call me back and tell me, he had no answer. I have had similar experiences several times at this Safeway pharmacy.

Found that they had large quantity of bivalent booster shots. Registered 3 people online and when I showed up, they only had 2 in the system. Had to manually fill out the forms even though I had email confirmation. Asked the pharmacist if they were indeed giving the new updated booster, she said yes and kind of shrugged it off. The actual room that they were doing the shots was packed with people. chairs were very close to each other. Floors had paper garbage and used mask sitting around. No private room like Millbrae for shots. Basically you're sitting there while everyone is watching you getting poked w/ covid vaccines. Job was done though.. Realized vaccine card had wrong birthday, had to call in the next day to fix the issue. Asked again if the vaccine was the new booster, the kind w
