Rochester Foot & Ankle; Scott W. Gerry, DPM (Dr. Gerry; Rochester, NH)

On 12/17/25 I accompanied my client to her appointment and was very impressed with Dr. Gerry’s professionalism. He was on time, asked great questions, and did some great teaching. He cut her toes and she had no discomfort throughout the process. I thought he had great bedside manner and technique.

Do not recommend! Very arrogant and rude, started in lecturing me for 20 minutes about me seeing him back in 2018 and I am not doing what he said to do! Hard to get a word in edgewise, finally was able to tell him I was there for a total different reason (if only he had read the paperwork I filled out in the front office he would have known why I was there. Will NOT be going back, especially to be treated in such a disrespectful way!

Just an all around hateful energy. He is unprofessional and has zero compassion for his patients. If you are looking for care, you wont find it there. I do not recommend at all. I hope this is helpful in some way to potential future patients.

Dr. Gerry and his front office staff, Janet, are very accommodating. Janet is pleasant, helpful, and a pleasure to speak with.. Dr. Gerry is very understanding of my issues on my feet. He came up with a solution and made me very comforting during the procedure. He was able to keep my mind off of what he needed to do by having a conversation with me about my son. I highly recommend this office if you have any foot or ankle issues.

Would not recommend this doctor. Saw him for foot pain, he misdiagnosed me with bursitis when I actually had stress fractures in the foot. He never xrayed it. He also questioned the severity of pain I had down on the intake form. Told me I didn’t understand the pain scale and he thought my pain was much lower than I had put down. Not sure how he knows my pain level… Thankfully I went to another podiatrist and she crated it at the first visit - could clearly see stress fractures in my foot too. Dr Gerry’s mistake cost me a lot - purchased new (expensive) shoes and orthotics for nothing. Would give him a “0” out of 10 if I could.
