Robert Dobrusin

I went to Dr. Dobrusin when I was experiencing severe eye pain and light sensitivity. I felt like I was not being heard, and he was dismissive of my symptoms. He assured me that my eyes were "perfect" and there was nothing to worry about. He suggested I most likely had a sinus or tooth infection and to see a primary care doctor. The next day, my vision and pain level were much worse. As it turns out, I required emergency treatment for a rare eye infection that could have compromised my vision. I tried to call him to notify him of his misdiagnosis, but he has neglected to call me back. Do yourself a favor and go see someone else.

I was worried at first about the MyEyeDr association. I wanted to get a local doctor that I could trust and count on. I think it may be a little carry over about the way I am with restaurants (I try to avoid chains). After doing research I realized that until recently Dr. Dobrusin's office went by Eldersburg Optical. Dr. Dobrusin was great. He took the time to explain the different things he was doing and explained what was going on with my eyes (low prescription with astigmatism). I felt like I wasn't just another patient. The staff was great and very accommodating. They also have late hours on Tuesdays and Thursdays which is great for my work schedule.
