Riverside Recovery Residence

This place literally changed my life for the better. My counselor Chris, was 100% on my side and constantly backed me up. The girls were just so nice and focused on bettering themselves. I would highly recommend this residential treatment community to anyone looking to maintain their sobriety and commit to a life with a bright future ahead. I still attend meetings in this area. Every house has the issues, not all of them try to fix them. There's always that girl who steals from you or who shoplifts from stores, but staff is dedicated to help that person and show them, that's not how women of dignity act. This was my home for almost three years, three crazy years. I went in as a young, ignorant, 19 year old punk that didn’t have much to live for, or so I thought. It took me a good year to open up and realize my life was worth saving. With the help of my peers that I lived with and with the help of countless councilors I was eventually able to turn my life around and learned how to become not only a sober individual but a productive member to society. If you ever come to this place for a drug test and you fail two days in a row for something you KNOW you’ve never taken, GO TO YOUR DOCTOR. Absolutely get a second or even third opinion! This place either doesn’t know how to properly drug test, or their tests are faulty! The only thing I’m thankful for is that my actual doctor legitimately tested me. 10/10 do NOT recommend this place.
