Riverside Center for Rehabilitation and Nursing

After a short stay at this facility, in the North unit, our sister passed away in peace, with dignity, and with exceptional care. Staff are diligent, knowledgeable and always visible. The patients are content and entertained daily. Special thanks to Asst. Nurse Mgr Heather, Nurse LeeAnn, and your team members. There aren’t enough words to express our gratitude & appreciation.

My relative is being cared for here. The facility is somewhat old, but well maintained. The seasonal decorations are very nice. The staff has been very accommodating, caring and efficient. We are pleased with his treatment. What I have seen of the food could use some improvement, but he had no complaints. We especially appreciate Stacy, she is exceptional in her attitude and care. Thank you to all.

My sister in law spent 6 months in Riverside Rehabilitation and nursing home.The last 4 months were in the palliative care unit. The staff in the palliative care unit went above and beyond for her a for her family! I was very impressed with the level of care that the palliative care team gave her and genuine compassion that they exhibited towards her and us. We will be forever grateful for the staff who cared for her until the end!!! You know who you are. You will forever be in our hearts with tremendous gratitude!!!!

My girlfriend has been in the rehab portion of the facility since February. We are thrilled with the care she is receiving. First, the care is excellent and facility is clean. The staff are competent, empathetic and friendly with many who have a great sense of humor. You can also tell there is a standard everyone is adhering to with very involved administrators. I live in Albany and it only takes 20 minutes to get there - closer than you think for those in Capital District. Definitely consider this small facility if you are facing that very difficult choice of finding a rehab or nursing home.
