I’ve used the pharmacy at Realo Drugs in Hampstead several times. The location and drive-thru are super convenient right off the highway, and next to fast food and coffee, so it’s easy to work into errands. That said, I’ve noticed a consistent pattern: prescriptions tend to take longer than expected to be ready. Not just “a little behind,” but usually at least 12 hours, sometimes 24 hours. On the positive side, the staff has always been nice and genuinely helpful. I don’t feel rushed, brushed off, or ignored which helps a lot when navigating health stuff. Wife, Kat Preast, posting to give a shout-out after such a wonderful experience at Realo Pharmacy. My leg was absolutely butchered by a dermatology PA yesterday and I left the office with tears AND (unexpected) stitches. I was preparing to catch an international flight TODAY and be out of the country for 3 weeks. Realo had everything I needed to care for my incision, and the pharmacist even took time to look at products in the aisle with me to determine what would be best/easiest. They even had the perfect size compression stockings I needed to support my leg through lots of walking and long flights. Thank you, Realo staff, for helping to make a tough situation much easier. You are so appreciated. ❤️

Great local family-oriented pharmacy. Anna is very nice and helpful. She truly cares about her customers! The store offers a good selection of wellness products, as well as OTC medications, greeting cards and more. There is even a nice sitting / waiting area.

Unlike CVS they actually answer the phone here. They've come through for me a couple times now when my usual pharmacy closer to where I live is out of stock of medication I need. My husband also bought cheaper and higher quality vitamins than food lion. He overheard them going the extra mile for another customer as well.

My family won’t go anywhere else besides Realo Drug in Hampstead. They know us by name and are always prompt in filling our prescriptions!
