Quality Urgent Care

I had a very disappointing experience at this urgent care. I was not feeling well, had already gone to bed, and made the effort to get up and drive to the closest in-network urgent care for help. When I arrived, the receptionist was actually very kind and welcoming. Unfortunately, the experience went downhill quickly when the physician assistant came out to the lobby while I was still filling out my paperwork. He asked what brought me in. As I was trying to explain—again, in the middle of the lobby—he abruptly cut me off and basically told me to hurry up because they were “closing in 5 minutes.” They were actually closing in 15 minutes, but regardless, the tone, attitude, eye-rolling, and overall lack of professionalism were extremely off-putting. I’ve been to the Potranco and 1604 location many times and never had a problem. Now I’d been really sick and I had 2 telemed visits with the Culebra locations and each time got a new medication each time and it wasn’t doing anything. I was tested for flu A and B, Covid, Step and all came back negative. But I was really sick. When the 3rd week of being still horribly sick and the meds not working, and going on my 2nd week with no voice, like nothing…and it was impacting my job, I decided to go INTO the Potranco/1604 location on January 1. Way to start off the new year. And it was the worst decision I even made. The nurses/techs were lovely, but the lady doctor. I didn’t even get her name. She was the worst. I wanted to talk about all my symptoms, to be heard, to ask questions, to see what w

PA Reed is kind and genuinely listens to his patients. I have visited this location for urgent care for my mom and myself and each time we have had PA Reed he took care of the issues and provided the best care. The office staff and medical assistants are also very friendly. I highly recommend this urgent care.

By far the best urgent care I ever been to. From the moment I Got there to the moment I left. The staff was professional courteous just overall amazing. I know they were tired. They had worked a long shift, but they put that to the side, even though I wasn’t feeling the best they were smiling and always went above and beyond for whatever I needed. I was very favorably impressed with everyone I met at this clinic, they were all friendly, professional and efficient. I wish my PCP was this helpful! This was the third clinic I tried today...after wasting nearly an hour filling out a form online after waiting another 10 minutes, in person, Texas Med wouldn't take my insurance. After waiting 20 minutes at a second clinic to determine eligibility I walked out and tried Quality Urgent Care. In less than 5 minutes my insurance was checked and approved, and I was seen in less than 15 minutes! Thank you!
