Publix Pharmacy at Villages of Amelia

Complete chaos and never ready on time - I got a text that’s say my script is ready and then they pretend your nuts and they never texted you because it’s not ready… time to wait 30 min, but believe it or not you have responsibilities and can’t delay your day for their convenience. They think no one is busy but them. Not looking for anything special.. just the basics.. basic service would be nice.

I have been using this specific pharmacy for five years or so and it used to be wonderful. The past two interactions I have had there have been incredibly unpleasant and the person “helping” was very rude. In 34 years as a Publix customer, it has ALWAYS been a pleasure. That is sadly no longer the case. I will be switching pharmacies ASAP.

Soooo I get a text from Yulee Publix to refill my prescription and I authorize the refill. Four days later I go to pick up my refill to be told they don’t have my refill, they don’t have it in stock. They put it in the system and told me I would have to return tomorrow or the next day after sitting there waiting 45 minutes for them to open. It’s a good thing my life does not depend on this medication!!!!

Worst pharmacy I have ever dealt with. My husband’s seizure meds are never on time. And today after surgery my doctor called in important meds for me at 11:00 am and at 4:00 pm Publix tells me they are too busy to fill them until sometime tomorrow. I used to think it was convenient to use a pharmacy where I shopped for food. But apparently they have huge issues and don’t care about the affect on patients.

I use to absolutely LOVE Publix Pharmacy in Yulee, FL, but the past 4 months have been horrible. It takes them days to fill simple prescriptions that use to get the same day or next and the notifications are as long. Sure miss the great service, but I'm not surprised, since service in America is slowly eroding, The attitude in businesses seems to be, you need us, we don't need you. Publix give them more help or modify your process, it seem to be broken.
