Avecina Medical Urgent Care of Yulee

My 6-year-old was seen by Jenny Merritt and received exceptional care. She was kind, professional, and incredibly patient throughout the visit. She also showed remarkable understanding and compassion toward my 8-year-old with autism and ADHD, who accompanied us but did not have an appointment. Tamra and Nichol were wonderful as well — friendly, attentive, and helpful from start to finish. We truly appreciated the positive experience provided by the entire team.

We took our 3-year-old in for a fever, cough, and runny nose, and from the moment we walked in, the front staff was absolutely amazing. They were kind, welcoming, and so patient with us. Dr. Mohammed Muquith was wonderful with our toddler. He was gentle, calm, and made our son feel brave and completely comfortable — which says a lot when dealing with a sick little one. This was our first time visiting, and we truly appreciated the genuine care and attention we received. The medications Dr. Muquith recommended worked right away. Great experience! Did the online check in and appointment without difficulty. . On arrival was greeted by nice front desk lady, my copay collected then seen by ARNP within a few minutes. MA and ARNP were friendly and professional. Facility new and very clean. Highly recommend this urgent care!

I was fortunate to find this newer Urgent Care facility in Yulee/Fernandina Beach, open after 6:00 PM with X-ray capabilities. (This was after driving to one who’s X-ray tech left at 5:00 and then being directed to another where I was told they weren’t taking any new patients because they closed in 20 minutes). The check-in process at Avecina was easy (on my phone) and the staff was polite & professional. Jennifer, the APRN called me at home after the radiologist confirmed my X-rays and offered “call back” support if I had any further questions. It was a positive experience and I will recommend my family and friends to this facility should the need arise.
