Let it be known. Any prescription given their patient was already evaluated, diagnosed and given their very own legal treatment plan. I have NEVER known a doctor OR pharmacist to take any additional unpaid personal time offering a second opinion to anyone voluntarily. Whether the patient were BEGGING FOR ONE OR NOT... Yet, anyone being treated in any way, for any means with ANY TYPE treatment plan with even a single narcotic and SUDDENLY... everyone wants to "help". It's not the misery of your condition that gives them a moment's concern... It's the guaranteed removal of your suffering they want to 'correct'. Understand me, here. As a physician, I am posting regarding an issue with my wife’s prescription at this Publix Pharmacy. She has filled the same medication here with the same Florida-licensed prescriber for years without issue. A new pharmacist refused to fill it, stating it was his “new rule” because the prescriber is in a different county, and advised that she find a new provider in Pinellas County. After a prolonged discussion, he filled it once but stated it would not be filled again unless she changed physicians. This is concerning and disruptive to continuity of care.

I’ve been coming to this pharmacy for years. I need to go back on adhd medication and they won’t fill my prescription. I live less than a mile away and I’m an established patient and they won’t help me, just because this is a “new” medication to me. They can see my records showing I filled these types of medicine several years ago. I’m not abusing medication and I don’t deserve to be treated this way. I spend so much money at this store in groceries every month and I will not come here anymore. Do they care? No.

The absolute worst experience in the last 6 months. Have used them for at least 10 plus years and no more. They are often rude and unhelpful. Seems any question you ask is met with an attitude like you are a burden to them. Each person you speak to gives different excuses and information including their supposed managers.

Consistently rude and unhelpful. It does not matter how many times they've filled a prescription for you, they will take any opportunity to call you a "new patient" and refuse service - all without making any effort to communicate with you (why do they bother having an app). You have to call, deal with the staff who treat you like a jerk for...giving them your money I guess? I suggest you get your meds filled literally anywhere else.
