Publix Pharmacy at Olde Village

After receiving terrible service from Walgreens and CVS, I was terribly happy to have been helped so well by Rachel. She immediate got my prescription transferred after 5 days of being pushed around by Walgreens and CVS, what a breath of fresh air!

Staff is very kind. Not sure of who worked with me, but the woman with blonde hair and a nose ring was so sweet.

This pharmacy is one of the worst and most incompetent that I have ever experienced. They will tell you on the phone that your prescription is being worked on and will be ready for pickup by a certain time. They they figure out later that they can't actually fill it for some reason - out of stock, your insurance actually didn't approve it, it's not "in formulary" etc. And they absolutely NEVER call or text you as a courtesy to say there's a problem, you just have to keep calling them back and sitting on hold to get updates. Horrible place - I will be switching as soon as I get this last round of prescriptions filled (which I've been working on for 3 days/literally 15 phone calls later). I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS PLACE!!

Went for my COVID booster and while the worker who checked me in was very friendly and accommodating, the blond-haired Pharmacist who took my information and administered the booster and flu shot was rather rude and seemingly frustrated. Not sure if she had a bad day or is better suited for a nonpublic-facing job, but clearly she wasn't in the right frame of mind to deal with me and other patients. I will probably choose to go elsewhere next time.

Our neighborhood Publix-Rx is fantastic!! Especially at this time with the influx of snowbirds coming down and many of them are very rude and demanding of the tech's and pharmacists!! It takes a lot to deal with people when there are so many stipulations that have been put on the pharmacy's since the pandemic hit!! So kudos to our friendly neighborhood Publix!!
