Publix Pharmacy at Hickory Ridge Shopping Center

The pharmacist here is maybe the rudest I’ve ever dealt with, and I usually love Publix. I don’t think I’ll get my prescriptions filled here anymore. The people who work at the one on Main St in Lebanon are much kinder and don’t make you feel like a criminal for calling to fill a prescription.

The pharmacist/tech that answers the phone is rude and doesn’t “have time” to transfer prescriptions from other pharmacies. This is not the first time I’ve had an issue with their customer service. They are not helpful whatsoever. If you need prescriptions filled or any help, I would recommend Publix on West Main. They apologized for the rudeness of the other pharmacy and transferred/filled the prescription without issues.

Poor customer service. I had two prescriptions sent by my doctor. One from the week ago and one from today. Without asking me which one do I need they gave me the one from the week ago that I found at home is for patients who had symptoms of the flu for no longer than 2 days. The one from today that I need wasn’t available and they told me that only when I returned to the store for the second time. No returns if you left the store. So, l paid for the medication that I can’t use.

More often than not I have rude and condescending interactions with the pharmacist here. It’s unlike any other Publix pharmacy I have interacted with, so that’s sad because it’s the closest to us. I would recommend going somewhere else if you have the option.
