The staff at this facility will gang up on you to try to trick you into paying for stuff for a family member. My mother is there for skilled nursing for a short rehab. The team called us saying that we were responsible for what happens to her after the rehab was complete. They said we would have to pay 11,000 a month. But this is not what federal law says. It says facilities like this will try to trick family members into paying for things they do not need to pay for. Places like this should be illegal for praying on families going through crisis.

Pruitt is disgusting! I have no idea how they remain open. From care to staff. They have bed bugs… always without linen, they are always out of communication with each other, workers are rude and argumentative. The employees are overworked yes with 15-18 patients at a time. My mom being there led to her getting a severe UTI to the point of sepsis and wound care didn’t stay in touch to explain why the wound looked worse than when we came!!! I’m sure many people have said this before but I will be sharing with DHEC. They lose patients belongings all the time, the laundry room is a packed mess looks like a sweatshop. I feel such guilt taking my mom there post 1 month hospital stay. This stay definitely hurt more than it helped.

Do NOT send your loved one here. We walked in and found mom in the fetal position writhing in pain. When asked to call EMS the first comment out of a nurse was “Well she’s gonna have to pay for that out of pocket.” One nurse for every 22 patients, facility is old, beds are rusty. We’ve switched facilities.

So far so good. I have only been here 3 days and already am starting to feel better. Facility is clean, food is typical cafeteria food. Sometimes staff is short handed but I have been checked on multiple times during the day.

It was rather scary for my 87 year old mom to be transferred here, but the staff was very welcoming and treated her (us) with respect. They immediately worked to get her comfortable in her room. They also listen to her requests. I'm thrilled they treat like they genuinely care if she was fed, clean and comfortable!
